The Boys and the Frogs

SOME BOYS, playing near a pond, saw a number of Frogs in the water, and began to pelt them with stones. They killed several of them, when one of the Frogs, lifting his head out of the water, cried out: Pray stop, my boys; what is sport to you, is death to us.

Moral:
What we do in sport often makes great trouble for others.

Reflection:

We all know that every game that we enjoy with there is really a trouble we always encounter. Sometimes we don’t accept that we lose the game, some of us tried to discriminate other team because we don’t win. Let’s face reality it’s just a game we don’t need to hurt other people because we don’t accept the truth maybe it’s not really the right to win or maybe there are something that we need to improvement.

The Ducks and The Fox

The Once there were two ducks that always walked along the same road each day to go to the pond. As they went along, one of the ducks quacked to the other, " Why don't we go on a different path today. There are lots of other roads that lead to the pond?"

"No, no, no. I have always gone this way and I am not about to change my ways," said the biggest duck.
As the ducks walked along they came upon a very sly fox. "Hello ladies, how are you doing?"
"Oh we are just on our way to the pond." The ducks continued to waddled quickly to the pond.
The next day the duck that had wanted to go to the pond another way said, "Please, lets go the other way. If we go the same way that fox will surely eat us."
"Oh don't be such a worry wart," snapped the biggest duck.
So they both had gone the same way that they always had, and there was the fox waiting for them with a sack in his paw. As soon as the ducks walked by the fox pounced on them. The ducks ran screaming back to their house.
The next day the ducks took another road to the pond because they were both still in shock over what the fox did to them the day before.

Bear would change all of her bad grades to As, and make paper airplanes during class and throw them at the teacher when she wasn't looking.

One time when bear was in the principal's office, she really got into trouble! When the principal got up to do something, Bear put glue in the principal's chair! The principal got so mad that she arranged a meeting with Bear's parents! But the principal was very surprised when they came, because the parents acted just like their child! They talked while the principal was speaking, they threw paper airplanes at her, and they put gum in her chair!

Moral : Your parents is just like your mirror .

Reflection :

We all know that since we were still young the first person that will teach us is our parents. Especially in what we act, our parents became our mirrors. If what is taught to us it became our Habit. what are parents act is what we act to. So parents should be careful of what they act because their children will do it .

The Bat and the Weasels

A Bat who fell upon the ground and was caught by a Weasel pleaded to be spared his life. The Weasel refused, saying that he was by nature the enemy of all birds. The Bat assured him that he was not a bird, but a mouse, and thus was set free. Shortly afterwards the Bat again fell to the ground and was caught by another Weasel, whom he likewise entreated not to eat him. The Weasel said that he had a special hostility to mice. The Bat assured him that he was not a mouse, but a bat, and thus a second time escaped.

The Lion, the Fox and the Ass entered into an agreement to assist each other in the chase. Having secured a large booty, the Lion on their return from the forest asked the Ass to allot his due portion to each of the three partners in the treaty. The Ass carefully divided the spoil into three equal shares and modestly requested the two others to make the first choice. The Lion, bursting out into a great rage, devoured the Ass. Then he requested the Fox to do him the favor to make a division. The Fox accumulated all that they had killed into one large heap and left to himself the smallest possible morsel. The Lion said, “Who has taught you, my very excellent fellow, the art of division? You are perfect to a fraction. He replied, “I learned it from the Ass, by witnessing his fate.”

Moral : Happy is she who learns from the misfortunes of others.

The Lark and Her Young Ones

A LARK had made her nest in the early spring on the young green wheat. The brood had almost grown to their full strength and attained the use of their wings and the full plumage of their feathers, when the owner of the field, looking over his ripe crop, said, “The time has come when I must ask all my neighbors to help me with my harvest.”

One of the young Larks heard his speech and related it to his mother, inquiring of her to what place they should move for safety.

“There is no occasion to move yet, my son,” she replied; “the man who only sends to his friends to help him with his harvest is not really in earnest.”

The owner of the field came again a few days later and saw the wheat shedding the grain from excess of ripeness. He said, “I will come myself tomorrow with my laborers, and with as many reapers as I can hire, and will get in the harvest.”

The Lark on hearing these words said to her brood, “It is time now to be off, my little ones, for the man is in earnest this time; he no longer trusts his friends, but will reap the field himself.”

Moral :Self-help is the best help.

One day a cat and a fox were having a conversation. The fox, who was a conceited creature, boasted how clever she was. 'Why, I know at least a hundred tricks to get away from our mutual enemies, the dogs,' she said.

'I know only one trick to get away from dogs,' said the cat. 'You should teach me some of yours!'

'Well, maybe some day, when I have the time, I may teach you a few of the simpler ones,' replied the fox airily.

Just then they heard the barking of a pack of dogs in the distance. The barking grew louder and louder - the dogs were coming in their direction! At once the cat ran to the nearest tree and climbed into its branches, well out of reach of any dog. 'This is the trick I told you about, the only one I know,' she called down to the fox. 'Which one of your hundred tricks are you going to use?'

The fox sat silently under the tree, wondering which trick she should use. Before she could make up her mind, the dogs arrived. They fell upon the fox and tore her to pieces.

Moral : A single plan that works is better than a hundred doubtful plans.
